Job Description

Renesas is looking for pro-active and results-oriented Principal Global Technology Marketing Manager Motor Control Solutions. This position is based out of one of our offices in Germany, which could be in Düsseldorf, Munich, Dresden, or Nabern, with the opportunity for remote work within Germany.

Renesas is accelerating its roadmap for motor control solutions. As Technology Marketing Manager, you are responsible for the solution definition by consolidating market requirements based on analysis of technology trends, key customer desires, competitive analysis, and market environment.

This is a global role where you will have the opportunity to work with many stakeholders across the company with high visibility and impact.

Your Role:

• Research market technology trends from a customer or application perspective.
• Identify market growth potential and competitive gains.
• Analyze system architectures of applications and propose optimizations to the Renesas roadmap.
• Set requirements and define roadmap for the motor control Software, Firmware and Tools to ensure they are state-of-the-art and offer an outstanding feature set and user experience.
• Work closely with global business development teams to consolidate technology and market requirements.
• Orchestrate Proof of Concepts and Testbed activities with potential partners.
• Create product value propositions, propose roadmaps, build business cases.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering or equivalent. MBA a plus.
• Openness to explore new technologies and markets to derive implementation recommendations from that.
• Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders on both technical and business levels.
• Proven track record of transforming technical and market requirements into business cases.
• Semiconductor Marketing experience preferred.
• Excellent customer focus with strong communication skills.
• Detailed Familiarity motor control frameworks for Semiconductor.
• Result-oriented, self-organized, self-motivated with independence of thought.
