Manager CISO Office (f/m/d)

Responsibilities / TasksThe Manager CISO office (f/m/d) acts as strategic partner and advisor to the CISO, ensuring smooth operations, effective communication, and efficient decision-making within the Information Security, Business Continuity and Crisis Management business area. This is a key leadership role requiring exceptional organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep understanding of technology and business processes.Act as a strategic advisor to the CISO and member of CISO’s leadership team.Establish, manage and lead program plans focused on maturing cross-team operations in support of team objectives.Represent the CISO in meetings and by email with internal and external stakeholders with a focus on operational maturity and program execution.Create and distribute executive level communications, presentations, reports, and other correspondence on behalf of the CISO based on their strategic and tactical priorities.Support the CISO in meetings by capturing, assigning, leading and/or tracking the completion of corresponding action items.Act as the liaison between CISO and other executives and stakeholders to ensure consistent communication and ensuring involvement or decision-making at the appropriate time.Support and partner with the CISO and the CISO’s leadership team on strategic planning, policy development, and decision-making.Work with each Information Security leader as well as with leader in interface functions like IT, Production, Facility Management, Product Development, Digital, HR, Legal and Compliance to facilitate timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives of the CISO Office.Monitor progress, identify and work with each leader on addressing potential risks and issues, and ensure alignment with relevant deadlines.Partner with leaders on researching and implementing alternate tactics and strategies when CISO Office priorities are at risk or team-specific or cross-team operations are proving to be inefficient.Create and maintain tooling and processes to enable effective program and project management and operational visibility across all CISO teams.Establish, maintain, and report on team-specific KPIs spanning security and compliance operations and projects.Present regular updates and reports to CISO leadership and the CISO.Support each of the CISO leaders in managing and addressing cross-team challenges.Support CISO leaders with project coordination and business administration including but not limited to managing budgets and expense alignments with Finance.Identify and lead the remediation of alignment issues internal to the team or the larger organization in cases where they are or have the likely potential to seriously disrupt planned objectives.Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to CISO staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.Support the CISO in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that attracts, retains, and develops top talent.Your Profile / QualificationsBachler or master’s degree in Information Security / Information Technology / Computer Science / Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related technical disciplineSecurity and Business Continuity Certifications advantageous (CISSP: Certified Information Systems Security Professional, CISM: Certified Information Security Manager, ISMS Lead Implementor, ISMS Lead Auditor, BCMS Implementer, BCMS Lead Auditor)5+ years of experience in leading position related to Information Security or Cyber Security or program and project management experience5+ years of experience in developing short- and long-range strategic plans, forecasting, and budgeting.Track record of organizing and directing multiple teams, departments and projects.Very well knowledge of (cyber) security technologies and methods (threat landscapes, models, standards) and well as business continuityIn-depth know-how in management-systems, audits, dealing with audit-findingsIn-depth know-how in ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-171, IEC 62443, ISO 22301Management experience with Risk Management i.e. Enterprise Risk Management / Security Risk ManagementExecutive-level written and verbal communication skills in English, local language is a plusNegotiation skills at different levels (executives, customers, suppliers)Strong interpersonal skills in communication and collaborationHighly effective time management and organization skillsStrong analytical ability, business acumen, problem solving skillsCapabilities in financial and budget ownershipStrong relationship builderDetail-orientedPatient, positive and flexibleDid we spark your interest?Then please click apply above to access our guided application process.SummaryLocation: DüsseldorfType: Full time
