IMAGINE THE FUTURE WITH ENVALIOR

As Vice President Strategic Controlling and Finance for the Performance (PM) and Specialty Materials (SM) Businesses, you will set the direction for Financial Business Partnering across both divisions. You will lead, inspire and develop a global team of finance professionals and ensure business transparency, compliance, and performance steering toward our strategic ambitions.

You will play a key leadership role—serving as a member of the Global Performance and Specialty Materials Business Leadership Team —while working closely with the respective Executive Vice Presidents, the CFO of Envalior, and other senior stakeholders. 

You will make key contributions to Envalior:

Strategic Leadership & Business Partnering

In this role, you serve as a strategic finance leader and trusted advisor to the Executive Vice Presidents, the CFO, and key decision makers across Envalior. You shape divisional direction by translating complex business dynamics into clear financial insights that influence strategic choices and drive competitive advantage. By embedding a strong business‑partnering mindset across both divisions, you ensure leaders have forward‑looking visibility and the financial clarity needed to accelerate value creation, strengthen portfolio performance, and unlock growth opportunities.

Performance Management & Financial Steering

You take full accountability for driving financial performance and ensuring the organization consistently delivers against its strategic ambitions. Your leadership goes beyond managing planning cycles—your focus is on steering outcomes. You actively shape business decisions by challenging assumptions, optimizing resource allocation, and influencing actions that maximize cash generation, EBITDA delivery, and overall financial health. Through your deep business understanding, you identify levers for improvement and turn financial insights into targeted interventions that materially enhance performance.

Team Leadership & People Development

As the global leader of the PM/SM financial business controlling organization, you inspire and mobilize a high‑performing team of finance professionals to achieve exceptional results. You build a culture where accountability, empowerment, and continuous growth fuel the team’s ability to create business impact. Requirements

With a sharp command of performance drivers and modern analytics, you bring clarity and direction in fast‑moving environments and translate data into decisive recommendations. You inspire high performance in global teams by fostering accountability, growth, and collaboration, while creating a culture where people thrive through change. At the same time, you lead transformation with confidence—simplifying how finance operates, driving digital adoption, and unifying ways of working to deliver a faster, smarter, and future‑ready finance organization.

Experience & Background

• Academic degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar; CPA, CFA, EMFC, or equivalent credentials are a strong plus.
• More than 10 years of progressive finance experience, with extensive leadership exposure in multinational or complex environments.
• Demonstrated success leading global teams and driving impactful business partnering.
• Proven track record of influencing senior leadership, improving financial performance, and navigating transformation.
• Strong command of digital finance tools, analytics, and modern performance management practices.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills—able to simplify complexity and engage diverse stakeholders.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
