Field Service Engineer DACH

You will join us as the first member of the service team in Germany, which plays a key role in ensuring our mobile batteries are safely commissioned, well maintained, and always performing at their best. As part of a small and growing local team, you will have a broad and hands-on role with real ownership and impact.

As a Field Service Engineer , you are essential to our day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities include:

• Commissioning and decommissioning new battery systems on-site

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance

• Troubleshooting and resolving electrical and technical issues

• Supporting the deployment and integration of battery solutions at client locations

• Acting as the first point of contact for Spanish-speaking customers who currently have our batteries running on their projects

• Handling incoming service requests and coordinating follow-up actions (service front desk role)

• Participating in a piket / on-call service, including occasional out-of-office hours shifts (paid additionally)

• Collaborating closely with internal teams such as Operations, Engineering, and Sales.

You will regularly travel to project sites across the DACH region, ensuring our battery systems are reliable, safe, and ready to meet the energy needs of our clients.

Who are you?

• 3–5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a technical or client-facing role

• Solid understanding of electrical systems and experience troubleshooting complex installations

• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on mindset

• Comfortable working independently in a field-based role

• Willingness to travel within DACH and in possession of a driver’s license, but based in Germany, in the area of Düsseldorf.

• Fluent in German and professionally proficient in English
