As an Operations Supervisor Logistics & Sorting Center (m/f/d) , you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our sorting centers while leading teams and driving operational excellence.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop Operations Team Leaders and operational employees within the sorting center
• Oversee daily sorting center operations to ensure productivity, quality, safety, and service targets are consistently achieved
• Monitor operational KPIs, analyze performance trends, and implement corrective actions where necessary
• Coordinate workforce planning, shift scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure efficient operations
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support the implementation of operational best practices
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and health & safety regulations
• Act as the primary escalation point for operational issues and support timely problem resolution
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to optimize end-to-end operational performance
• Prepare operational reports and provide regular performance updates to management
• Support recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management activities within the operations team

Your Profile

• Several years of experience in logistics, parcel delivery, warehousing, transportation, supply chain, or a similar operational environment
• Proven leadership experience managing Team Leaders or larger operational teams
• Strong understanding of sorting center, hub, distribution center, or last-mile operations
• Experience working with operational KPIs, productivity metrics, and performance management
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Hands-on mentality with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
• English proficiency required
• German and/or Chinese language skills are considered an advantage
