Field Engineer (Solar PV / Inverter Systems)

Our client, a leading multinational technology company, is recruiting for two Solar PV Field Engineer to join their business in Germany. Position Title: Field Engineer (Solar PV / Inverter Systems) Position Type: 1 year fixed term contract Start Date: ASAP Location: Dusseldorf or Munich Germany Contact: Jo Tianchang Li | +49 (0) 89 23 88 98 42 Responsibilities: Provide onsite troubleshooting support for Solar PV systems and inverters. Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to installation, commissioning, and operation. Provide operation guidance to onsite technicians and installation teams. Conduct onsite problem identification, documentation, and communication with internal technical teams. Provide basic technical training and guidance to onsite technicians when required. Perform onsite quality inspections to ensure PV and inverter installations meet technical standards and project requirements. Requirements: Certified Electrical Technician / Elektrofachkraft (EFK) or equivalent electrical qualification. Hands-on experience with Solar PV installation and inverter systems. German language proficiency (C1/C2) – mandatory for onsite communication. English language skills – optional but preferred. Valid driving license and willingness to travel to project sites; need to travel with own car with mileage covered by the client Ability to work independently in field environments with strong communication skills.
