The head office for the DACH and EEC markets, covering 13 countries with more than 2.700 employees, is located in Düsseldorf and is the main location of around 500 employees. We are currently looking for a Talent Development Specialist (m/f/x) to join our EMEA team, based in Düsseldorf. The Position As Talent Development Specialist– EMEA, you will play a key role in the regional deployment of global Talent and Learning products and experiences, ensuring effective activation across all Hubs. You will be accountable for delivering high-quality, scalable talent processes while tailoring learning content to meet regional needs. You will also be responsible for ensuring consistent execution of cyclical talent moments, driving best practice sharing, and supporting our markets in building critical skills and capabilities. This role leads a regional team and collaborates closely with global and local partners to ensure our talent strategy is successfully activated across the EMEA region. You will drive process efficiency, scale impactful initiatives, and enhance the associate experience through development and performance enablement. Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the delivery of cyclical EMEA Talent Processes, including goal setting, check-ins, performance reviews, and development planning.
  • Ensure effective tailoring and activation of Learning: Customize global learning content for local relevance; ensure effective activation across all EMEA hubs.
  • Manage Regional Rollout: Lead consistent rollout of global talent and learning products, ensuring translation, coordination, and timely delivery in all regions.
  • Support Hub Operations: Provide guidance and support to hub-level teams on talent topics including talent reviews, capability programs and development moments.
  • Curate Global and EMEA learning content into a meaningful learning journey for the associate lifecycle in Office and Retail e.g. Induction, Store Openings, becoming a manager
  • Share Best Practice: Facilitate the capture and scaling of best-in-class learning and talent practices across hubs and markets.
  • Streamline Local Plans: Review and refine existing market-level learning plans to align with regional goals and global direction.
  • Ensure Experience Consistency: Align activation efforts with the global experience vision, maintaining consistency across locations and populations.
  • Measure and Optimize: Collect feedback and performance data to optimize content, delivery, and impact of talent and learning activities.
  • Provide insights and performance metrics that enhance the content, delivery, and measure the impact of talent and learning activities on our business results and drive continuous improvement.
Note: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, those listed above. The role may require additional tasks and duties as assigned to meet the needs of the department and organization. Measures of Success • Process Execution: Talent and learning processes delivered on time and to standard. • Target: ≥ 95% adherence to process timelines and quality standards. Stakeholder Engagement: Satisfaction and alignment with Talent & Learning rollout. • Target: ≥ 85% satisfaction from stakeholders (feedback-based). • Content Relevance & Experience: Tailored learning content meets local needs and enhances associate capability. Target: ≥ 80% positive feedback from learners on content relevance and delivery. The Ideal Candidate •
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in Talent/Learning roles.
Education: relevant HR or business qualifications are an advantage • HR Expertise: Experience in Talent Management, Learning & Development or HR Programs in an international environment. • Project Management: ability to manage and deliver initiatives with regional scope. • Facilitation skills: Ability to facilitate online and in person learning interventions • Process Orientation: Able to drive consistency, compliance, and process optimization. Strategic Execution: Balances long-term thinking with operational execution to scale and embed impactful programs. • Problem Solving: Able to analyze complex issues and implement effective, compliant solutions under pressure. • Language: Fluency in German & English required, additional languages are a plus.
