Our client, a leading global IT service provider,is recruiting for a Data Engineering System Engineer to join their business in Germany .

Responsibility:

• Design and implement high-performance Oracle and Gauss DWS database solutions, including performance tuning and migration projects.
  

• Develop and maintain real-time data warehouses, leveraging CDC for real-time data synchronization, and constructing data pipelines with ETL tools like Kettle and DataStage.
  

• Provide supply chain insights through Oracle Demantra for S&OP demand forecasting and planning management.
  

• Collaborate with global teams to support regional digital operation platforms, ensuring data accuracy and availability.
  

• Manage and optimize diverse database systems (such as PostgreSQL, DB2, SQL Server), addressing cross-platform integration challenges.
  

• Oversee project management, encompassing requirement analysis, solution design, system implementation, and post-implementation support.
  

• Work with business units to deliver analytical services, enabling data-driven decision-making strategies.
  

• Adapt to cross-cultural and cross-time zone collaboration, providing professional consulting services to clients in industries like finance, insurance, and manufacturing.
  

Requirements:

• Hold Oracle OCA and OCP certifications with over 5 years of BI/DW experience, specifically in real-time data warehouses.
  

• Proficient in Gauss DWS with experience in cluster management and performance optimization.
  

• Expertise in supply chain management and Oracle Demantra system.
  

• Familiarity with multiple database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, DB2) and ETL tools.
  

• Proven track record in projects within the banking, insurance, FMCG, and manufacturing sectors.
  

• Skilled in database administration and scripting on Linux/Unix environments.
  

• Excellent project management and communication skills for coordinating across teams and departments.
  

• Language Requirement: Mandarin, English
