Manager Toxicology (d/f/m)

What you´ll do

• Conduct toxicological safety assessments of raw materials and Henkel products across a broad range of applications and markets
• Perform classification and labeling for chemicals and mixtures in accordance with the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) and applicable regulations
• Provide toxicological expertise and support for REACH registrations and other regulatory submissions
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Regulatory Affairs, Product Development, Analytics to drive compliant and innovative solutions
• Partner with customers to understand their product stewardship needs, and provide scientific guidance and expert opinions
• Represent Henkel in European industry associations, scientific committees, and external working groups, contributing to the advancement of safety and regulatory science
• Support Henkel's sustainability ambitions by integrating toxicological expertise into sustainable product innovation and responsible product stewardship

What makes you a good fit

• Master's degree (or equivalent) in Toxicology, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related scientific discipline; a PhD is an advantage
• At least eight years of professional experience in toxicology, ideally within the chemical-, consumer goods-, or related industries
• Strong expertise in the evaluation and interpretation of toxicological endpoints, study data, and standard toxicological testing methods
• Solid experience in hazard identification, exposure assessment, and human health risk assessment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear and actionable recommendations
• Proficiency in English and German (written and spoken)
