About Bencis

Bencis is an independent investment company that was founded in 1999 by Zoran van Gessel and Jeroen Pit. Bencis supports business owners and management teams in achieving their growth ambitions. We have been investing in strong, successful businesses in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany for over 25 years.

The Bencis team consists of 34 professionals based in Düsseldorf, Amsterdam and Brussels. Historically, we have raised six funds with a total equity volume of EUR 2.2 billion and we currently invest out of Fond VI with EUR 575 million.

Your Profile

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an Investment Professional to join our office in Düsseldorf. We advise Bencis funds on small- to mid-sized majority investments in Germany / the DACH region with growth and buy-and-build potential.

Experience & Background

• 4–7 years of relevant professional experience in M&A advisory / investment banking,Transaction services / financial due diligence, Private equity or similar investment-related fields, Strategy consulting
• Track record of working with founders and boards, teams of people, hands-on live transactions, business model analysis, and strategic & financial assessments

Competencies

• High level of independence, adaptability, and entrepreneurial spirit
• Strong analytical and quantitative skill set
• Strategic thinker with a value-oriented mindset and critical judgment
• Team player with a sense of humor and down-to-earth character
• German fluency
