We're expanding our Sales team in Düsseldorf to join our New Business Team and seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive to drive our growth in the mainly DACH as well as DCEE region.

Role Overview:

This role is perfect for an ambitious individual who wants to advance their career in B2B sales. Working in close partnership with senior sales colleagues, you will leverage your interpersonal skills to network new accounts, book appointments, support the sales process with relevant insights, and communicate team progress with management. If you’re ambitious, performance-oriented, and have strong business acumen, this could be the role for you!

What You’ll Do:

• Schedule high-quality B2B new business appointments each week by becoming a networking and lead sourcing specialist.
• Qualify companies and contacts through cold emailing, networking - and cold calling where necessary.
• Run discovery calls to qualify those opportunities which are ready for a sales conversation with your New Business colleagues.
• Support the follow-up process after new business conversations to understand the whole sales process.
• Work with internal departments to drive lead generation and further strengthen our lead nurturing programme.
• Strategise with the New Business sales team to optimise the outreach for each prospect.
• Maintain records of all prospects and outreach in Microsoft Dynamics, including documenting scheduled meetings.
• Provide a weekly summary of new business activity to the management team.
• Work with sales technology such as LinkedIn, LinkedIn and Sales Navigator.

What You’ll Bring:

• Outstanding communication and people skills; ability to work collaboratively and consultatively with multiple stakeholders at all levels.
• Motivation to open doors and generate meetings from a cold start. Multi-channel prospecting will drive your activity (calling, video, voice note, email, social).
• Highly developed analytical skills with an ability to quickly interpret a wealth of information from different sources to build compelling stories with a commercial conclusion.
• A creative approach to finding hooks and problem-solving techniques to secure client meetings.
• Ability to work with the wider sales team to ensure no opportunity gets forgotten, reporting back to the business on the progress of opportunities weekly.
• Exceptional organizational skills with an ability to balance multiple tasks and sales projects simultaneously.
• Ability to build strong relationships with prospects of all levels.
• Experience with marketing intelligence or email marketing is a plus.
