Tasks

• Together with team members, you will develop the architecture and implementation of modern AI and data-driven platforms in the cloud – with the goal of providing scalable platforms and AI solutions.
• You will support our team in the development and optimization of AI agents – from testing and fine-tuning to prototyping AI applications.
• You actively contribute to building our knowledge about AI agents : researching current tools and methods.
• You follow current trends and technological developments (e.g., memory architectures, LLM integration, prompt engineering) and contribute your findings to further development. Experiment with new models and the use of innovative technologies.
• You automate infrastructure provisioning with tools like Terraform and create the foundation for reliable DevOps and CI/CD of AI workloads.
• You will help monitor the performance of AI systems and distributed data platforms .

Qualifications

• Either you have completed vocational training as an IT specialist and have already studied computer science for 3 semesters , or you have successfully completed a bachelor's degree and are starting your master's studies.
• Good programming skills (e.g. Python, Java or Javascript), initial experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and a basic understanding of cloud architectures (IaaS, PaaS, Serverless)
• Knowledge of how to use cloud databases such as Snowlake, Databricks , etc.
• Prior experience or strong interest in Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and in building scalable cloud infrastructures for AI and data-intensive workloads
• Basic knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) as well as a basic understanding of CI/CD, DevOps and MLOps principles in the context of cloud-based AI/ML systems.
• Analytical, structured approach and motivation to continuously optimize cloud and platform solutions and to evaluate new technologies in the AI ​​environment.
• Excellent communication skills to explain cloud and AI architectures in an understandable way and to design scalable, future-proof solutions.
• Very good German and good English skills
