Your responsibilities

• Act as a business partner for our Dutch power plant controllers and counterparty to Uniper’s Power Function by providing commercial business support in order to drive performance
• Provide analysis on the implications of environmental changes (e.g. commodity prices, market conditions, regulation) on performance, assess threats and weaknesses and initiate countermeasures
• Manage overall processes for creating, analyzing, and commenting on monthly & quarterly reports, forecasts, and mid-term planning
• Engage into cross-functional activities to analyze financial gross margin developments
• Support continuous improvement of reporting processes and tools
• Further develop and enhance interfaces to Financial Controlling, Accounting, Risk and Data Management teams

Your profile

• Relevant controlling expertise and/or substantial understanding of the energy trading environment and its competitive landscape
• Experience within power trading & power asset optimization business as a plus
• Knowledge of relevant IT systems (e.g., BI tools, SQL-based database systems)
• Strong analytical mind-set and willingness to drive performance and change
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present data in a clear and easily understandable way
• Proactiveness and ability to cooperate in a cross-functional environment; high personal responsibility and stress tolerance
• Fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of additional languages would be an advantage
