Let's skip the part where we tell you this is “an exciting opportunity in a dynamic environment.” You've read that sentence four hundred times and seen it all.

Here's what's actually true:

We need an experienced, financially literate Closer who speaks English on a native or C2 Level, can pick up a phone at 3:30pm, talk to a stranger with eight figures in a brokerage account somewhere in Wyoming or Connecticut, get them to sign a convertible promissory note before their assistant walks in with coffee. That's it. That's the job. Everything else is detail.

Meridion AG runs the show from Monheim & Düsseldorf. Our US arm, Meridion Dynamics Inc., builds intelligent software and smart energy technology. But you're not selling the product. You're closing the investment that funds it. Different animal, different muscle.

AUFGABEN

What You'll Actually Do

• Take warm(ish) leads from our setters - accredited US investors who already know we called - and close them on convertible promissory notes.
• Walk investors through the accreditation process without losing them to paperwork fatigue.
• Hold the line, know the terms cold, and answer the “wait, what happens if you don't hit your IPO timeline” question without blinking.
• If a setter is running low on appointments, out sick or on vacation, you step in and run up to 100 outbound cold calls that day to convert cold leads into your Closing appointments. Yes, a hundred. We count :)
• Talk to people who have people and AI to screen their calls - and get past their Gatekeepers.

QUALIFIKATION

What You Bring

• Real closing experience - several years of it, in high-ticket sales, investment products, or anything else where “no” is the opening bid, not the final answer. This is not a rookie position.
• English at a genuine native level. Not “I watched a lot of Suits.” You need to sound like you belong in a room with a family office CFO. If it's not your first language, we're talking true C2, no exceptions. An accent is no Dealbreaker but your vocabulary, your pronunciation, the way you use idioms - your vibe on the phone - must be on fleek.
• A voice and presence that reads as calm, unbothered, and confident - think less “modern hustle culture” - more Brian Tracy.
• Genuine understanding of what an accredited investor is, what a convertible note does, and why someone would put $50k+ into one. We'll brief you thoroughly - but you need financial literacy to keep up from day one.
• A working understanding of US investor culture, even sitting in Düsseldorf’s Seestern District.

The Deal

• Full-time, 40h/week, onsite at our Düsseldorf office near Seestern.
• Late shift: 2:30pm - 10pm, because your workday runs on Pacific and Eastern time, not Berlin time.
• Base salary + commission
• Onboarding is real: Expect a genuine ramp-up before you're fully solo on calls.
• Start: ASAP - which translates to “realistically September/October”.
