Machine Learning Engineer (m/f/d) - AI features, agents & multi agent workflows

Your tasks

• You will help us reduce the time-to-value for new AI features, increase their response/result quality, and improve efficiency.
• You develop production-ready AI features as APIs/microservices and build RAG pipelines with vector search, guardrails, and evaluation metrics.
• You design and implement agents (tool-use, plan-execution) and cooperating multi-agent workflows, ensuring quality and security through appropriate testing.
• You work closely with your team, frontend, infrastructure and other departments, and actively contribute to the further development of our AI landscape.
• You enjoy using modern AI solutions or AI coding tools in your work and are interested in continuously increasing the use of AI coding in your team.

Your profile

• Successfully completed studies in a relevant field or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of practical experience in the software development of product-ready ML/AI applications.
• Excellent programming skills in C#/.NET and ideally also Python.
• Practical experience in LLM apps (prompting, RAG, tool use, agents) and their evaluation/guardrails.
• Experience with orchestrating multi-agent workflows.
• Expertise in the automation of build and deployment processes (CI/CD) and DevOps practices in the context of AI technologies and infrastructures.
• Experience with API design, microservices, authentication/authorization, and modern architectural patterns.
• Enthusiasm for solving complex technical challenges and a willingness to continuously develop yourself.
• Excellent German skills, both spoken and written.
