Job Title: Engineer C&I

Job Location: Düsseldorf or Münich, Germany

Main Responsibilities:

• C&I Project Lifecycle Engineering: Supervise and provide technical support for the entire project engineering process, including kick-off meetings, site surveys, hardware/software supervision, and acceptance tests (FAT/SAT). Provide onsite commissioning and O&M training to customers and partners.

• Technical Partner Interface: Act as the primary technical interface with engineering partners to identify, locate, and resolve technical roadblocks during the installation and grid-connection phases of C&I projects.

• Advanced Level 2 Support: Provide independent or joint remote and onsite Level 2 technical support. Take the lead in troubleshooting major or critical system issues that cannot be resolved by local subcontractors or Tier-1 support.

• Pre-sales & Marketing Support: Support the sales team by holding technical workshops for key C&I clients, contributing to the technical and service sections of bid proposals, and presenting Huawei’s C&I portfolio at industry exhibitions.

• Quality Monitoring & Improvement: Monitor the quality of onsite operations, analyze recurring technical issues, and drive service process improvements. Collaborate with Sales and Product Managers to ensure "lessons learned" are integrated into future solutions.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in the PV industry, specifically in technical service, commissioning, or project engineering for C&I applications (String inverters, BESS, EMS).

• Skills: Highly motivated team player with a success-driven mindset. Ability to manage complex technical tasks independently with minimal guidance.

• Consultative Approach: Strong communication skills with the ability to probe technical requirements and present solutions to both technical experts and business owners.

• Languages: Fluency in German and English is mandatory.

• Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently within Germany to support C&I sites and partner offices.
