Now we’re on the hunt for a German Game Linguist to bring creativity, precision, and passion to in-game content for a leading international publisher .

This is a full-time, permanent role , fully onsite in our vibrant Barcelona studio — Carrer de la Diputació, 280, 08009 - a city as dynamic and exciting as the games you’ll help bring to life. If you’re joining us from abroad, we’ll support your move with a relocation bonus .

What you’ll do

• Translate, review, and polish in-game and non-in-game content from English into German , maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Own the linguistic quality of your work, ensuring every line sounds natural, engaging, and true to the game’s world.
• Collaborate closely with fellow linguists to deliver consistent and player-friendly translations.

Requirements

• Native-level German speaker (a must!)
• A genuine passion for video games and storytelling.
• Background in linguistics, translation, or copywriting — or equivalent experience.
• Excellent German writing style with strong English skills.
• A self-motivated problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment .
• A collaborative spirit with strong interpersonal skills.
