Due to the continued success and expansion of our Data Centre business in Germany we are currently recruiting for an experienced Commissioning Manager (m/f/d) to join our Data Centre team in Düsseldorf.As a Commissioning Manager, your primary responsibility is to oversee t when equipment and systems are installed and tested. You’ll work closely with other business functions across projects to ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and budget requirements. With a market leading client base and the opportunity to take the lead on strategic commissions and high-profile projects, this is an exciting time to join the business unit and grow a career with Turner & Townsend.Responsibilities:Planning and management of Vendor FAT/ FWT with possible attendance if necessary.Management of CFCI and OFCI vendors Commissioning ScopeLead Daily/ Weekly commissioning meetings, Internally, vendor and ClientManage, deliver and obtain approval on relevant project commissioning documents such as Test Scripts, Compliance statements etc.Manage the receipt, review and compliance of project commissioning documentation to achieve the necessary sign offSingle POC for commissioning management and reporting of the planning and execution of scopes and deliverablesEquipment Installation OversightSupervise the installation of new equipment, systems, and facilities.Inspect and verify the correct functioning of electrical, mechanical, and environmental control systemsTesting and Verification: Conduct tests to ensure operational efficacyVerify the integrity and performance of critical systems.Approve the finalization of the project based on successful testingParticipate in safety reviews.QualificationsDegree in Engineering, Building Services, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.Several years experience in industrial equipment and systems commissioning; preferably within data centres, mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale construction projects.Experience managing commissioning activities throughout design, construction, commissioning, and project closeout phases.Ability to review technical documentation, commissioning plans, method statements, test procedures, and as-built documentation.Proficiency in mechanical and electrical equipment and systems, Excel, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook), control systems, and SharePointFamiliarity with control systems for critical infrastructuresStrong analytical, structural, and organizational abilitiesExcellent interpersonal skills with the capability to communicate effectively at all levelsHighly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your clientAvailability for on-site workAdditional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
