Senior Snowflake Consultant, German Speaking

Working conditions: Hybrid working (ie Remote and on site). 50% on site Company offices/Company Client offices and 50% remote.

On site Company offices in Germany - Dusseldorf or Hamburg

Willingness to travel for project-related assignments, so candidates should be comfortable with some travel within the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland).

Skills:

• Good experience in consulting or comparable project roles in data engineering, analytics, BI or modern data platforms - ideally in banking or financial services.
• Solid hands-on experience with Snowflake, particularly SQL, data modelling, modern data lake/lakehouse architectures.
• Experience in managing complex projects, workstreams or project teams as well as coordinating different business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience in client consulting, proposal preparation and ideally business development or account management.
• Knowledge of internal banking processes and products is an advantage.
• Strong communication and consulting skills when working with technical, business and management stakeholders, as well as the ability to structure complex topics clearly.
• Entrepreneurial thinking, a strong sense of responsibility and a clear focus on quality, commercial viability and client value.
• Business fluent German and English skills at C1 level, team spirit, flexibility and willingness to travel for project-related assignments.

At the Company, you will combine in-depth Snowflake and data expertise with consulting, project management and entrepreneurial thinking. You will structure complex requirements, provide functional leadership to project teams, manage stakeholders and keep quality, timelines and commercial viability firmly in focus.

At the same time, you will actively contribute to the development of growing Snowflake and data consulting portfolio - from client development and proposal preparation through to the further development of the Company services.

Your new challenge

• You advise clients on the design and implementation of modern data platform and analytics solutions based on Snowflake.
• You analyse business and technical requirements, develop suitable solution approaches and support their implementation. In doing so, you act as a central interface between business departments, IT and other stakeholders.
• You take responsibility for projects, workstreams or sub-projects and provide functional leadership to the teams involved.
• You manage projects also from a commercial perspective - including resource planning, budget control and profitability.
• You support the acquisition of new projects and clients - from pitches and proposal processes through to the development of suitable consulting approaches.
• You actively contribute to strategic client management and the further development of existing client relationships.
• Together with us, you help shape the further development Snowflake and data consulting portfolio.
