We're supporting a leading global technology organisation in the search for a Business Developement Manager with a strategic focus on cloud services within the telecoms ecosystem. This is a high-impact commercial role, centred around a flagship partnership with Deutsche Telekom - one of Europe's most influential telecommunications groups.
This position is ideally suited to individuals with deep sector experience in Cloud & ICT, particularly those with strong existing networks within Deutsche Telekom or similar Tier-1 telcos.

What You'll Be Doing as a Business Developement Manager

• Strategic Partnership Management: Take ownership of the commercial relationship with a key partner (Deutsche Telekom), acting as te go-to business lead on joint go-to-market initiatives and solution alignment.
• Channel Development: While this isn't a typical multi-channel sales environment, you'll act as a strategic channel manager with a sole but critical partner, shaping collaborative sales strategies and aligning internal stakeholders.
• Market Growth: Drive adoption of innovative cloud and infrastructure solutions across key verticals including public sector and regulated industries, leveraging the company's OpenStack-based platform.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate executive-level relationships within partner organisations, identifying new revenue opportunities and aligning with customer needs.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing and technical teams to tailor solutions that meet market demands and client specifications.
• Industry Representation: Represent the business at relevant industry forums, increasing brand presence and unlocking new business channels.

ANFORDERUNGSPROFIL:

What we are loooking for the Business Developement Manager :

• 8+ years' experience in business development, strategic partnerships or channel sales within the cloud and telecommunications space.
• Strong technical understanding of Cloud services (IaaS / PaaS / SaaS), ideally with exposure to OpenStack-based infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of the telecoms ecosystem in Germany, including relationships or prior experience working with Deutsche Telekom / T-Systems.
• Commercially astute with a consultative approach and strong influencing skills.
