Job Description
The main objective of LUCA program is to successfully upgrade METRO’s Finance to SAP S/4HANA to ensure business continuity and avoid security and compliance risks. The LUCA program is, in addition, a critical enabler of METRO’s strategy to achieve standardization, harmonization, and centralization.
The Expert Module Lead Ariba (m/f/d) is responsible for leading the successful implementation, configuration and management of SAP Ariba solutions to optimize procurement processes and integrate seamlessly within SAP environment. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a deep understanding of SAP Ariba and its integration with other SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities
- SAP Ariba Implementation and Management: Lead the design, development, configuration, testing and ongoing maintenance of SAP Ariba solution to enhance procurement efficiency. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables specific to SAP Ariba initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment across SAP modules.
- Integration with SAP PM: Utilize expertise in SAP PM to integrate maintenance planning and scheduling with procurement processes, thereby enhancing operational efficiency.
- Training and Support: Provide training and ongoing support to users, ensuring proficiency in SAP Ariba tools and features. Develop user manuals and conduct workshops as needed.
- Process Optimization: Analyze current procurement processes to identify areas for improvement. Implement best practices using SAP Ariba to streamline operations and reduce costs.
Qualifications
Your Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Ariba implementation and management with a strong understanding of procurement processes and the ability to configure, deploy and manage the Ariba platform.
- Deep expertise of Ariba solutions, e.g. Ariba Network, Supplier Business Network and a minimum of 3 years of experience in leading SAP Ariba projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English language) to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization .
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage projects and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to achieve project objectives . Experience with multinational teams is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Consultancy background, Ariba Certification and hands-on experience in large-scale ERP transformation projects at global corporations are a plus.
