Expert SIM Data Generation (286873) (m,f,d)ID: 286873Location: DüsseldorfOur Team:VF’s SIM Technology Centre (STC) manages the strategy, security, engineering, life cycle, and operations for centrally provided SIM/eSIM products and solutions. This includes traditional SIMs, eSIMs, provisioning systems, and all current and future SIM/eSIM offerings, focusing on secure customer access to VF networks and compliance with telecommunication regulations and billing integrity. STC supports Consumer and Enterprise organizations by deploying SIM/eSIM products and solutions, advancing SIM digitalization, and introducing new services.[CG1.1][HJ1.2]The role: “Expert SIM Data Generation”The “Expert SIM Data Generation” role serves as the principal operator for generating SIM products of local markets and other VF Group entities/partners. Key responsibilities encompass the creation and deployment of SIM data generation scripts, integration of diverse data sources, and transformation into various output formats. The position also involves planning and overseeing SIM product type approval, ensuring seamless integration with commercial orderability throughout the system landscape, and executing data generation orders for market-specific products, supplied to multiple external system landscapes. Additional duties involve close collaboration with operational teams on infrastructure, to guarantee optimal availability and performance, as well troubleshooting in case of issues together with technical teams. Continuous service improvement is achieved through collaboration with the product owner and stakeholders, addressing changes in standardization, emerging technologies, and security requirements. This also includes the planning and support of new feature rollouts and their type-acceptance.The “Expert SIM Data Generation” manages interfaces to suppliers and stakeholders across the Vodafone markets and Group organisation worldwide. What you will do• Lead the creation and deployment of SIM data generation scripts, integration of diverse data sources, and transformation into various output formats • Coordination and execution of SIM product type approvals and make them available for customers to order• Leads the processing of incoming SIM data generation orders its distribution into different external and internal customer systems • Administration and operation of the SIM data inhouse generation, as well as troubleshooting and corrective actions in case of errors and infrastructure issues• Continuous expansion of the SIM data generation in terms of requirements and featuresWhat sets you apart• Zero-defect mindset and focus on preventing defects by ensuring high quality standards• Ability to analyse, design, and implement solutions at a very granular technical level. • Analytic and problems solving skills. • Excellent communication and argumentation skills to both, management and technical people • Structured and diligent way of working • Higher education degree in Engineering /IT / Security and min 3 years correlated work experience• Profound knowledge about SIM and eSIM and relevant standards (eg.ETSI, GSMA) & telecommunication experience • Experience in complex processes & projects• Excellent verbal and written communications and collaboration skills in English • Experience in working with local and remote international stakeholders.Belonging at Vodafone isn't a concept; it's lived, breathed, and cultivated through everything we do.
