About the Role:

Our client, a leading manufacturing company based in Düsseldorf, is seeking a Senior SAP Ariba Consultant for an initial 12-month contract to support their ongoing digital procurement transformation. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert-level guidance on SAP Ariba solutions and assisting in the optimization of procurement processes. This contract offers flexibility, with a requirement of only 2 days per month on-site in Düsseldorf. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of SAP Ariba, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with cross-functiol teams in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level expertise in the implementation and optimization of SAP Ariba solutions, focusing on procurement, sourcing, supplier magement, and invoicing processes.

• Assist in configuring, integrating, and customizing SAP Ariba modules such as Sourcing , Procure-to-Pay (P2P) , Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP) , and Buying & Invoicing .

• Work closely with the project team and key business stakeholders to gather requirements, develop solutions, and ensure that SAP Ariba solutions are aligned with the client’s procurement strategies and objectives.

• Provide expert advice on best practices, guiding the client on how to maximize the functiolity of SAP Ariba to enhance procurement efficiency.

• Ensure seamless integration of SAP Ariba with existing SAP systems, such as SAP S/4HA or SAP ECC .

• Perform regular system health checks, troubleshooting, and provide recommendations for enhancements and improvements.

• Support the client in system configuration and customizations, ensuring that business processes are optimized.

• Assist in user training, documentation, and workshops to ensure smooth adoption of SAP Ariba solutions.

• Provide ongoing support and maintence for SAP Ariba, including troubleshooting issues and ensuring the platform meets business needs.

• Be a trusted advisor to the client, ensuring that SAP Ariba supports their broader procurement and supply chain goals.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as an SAP Ariba Consultant, with a strong background in procurement, sourcing, and supplier magement.

• Expertise in SAP Ariba modules such as Sourcing , Procure-to-Pay (P2P) , Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP) , and Buying & Invoicing .

• Proven experience in SAP Ariba implementation , configuration, and integration with SAP S/4HA or SAP ECC .

• Ability to work effectively in a remote setup , with only 2 days per month required on-site in Düsseldorf.

• Experience working with manufacturing clients or industries with complex procurement operations is a significant advantage.

• Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address technical challenges quickly.

• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and build strong relationships with business users.

• Fluent in English ; German proficiency is preferred but not mandatory.
