The Business Analyst Merchandising at C&A is a pivotal subject matter expert, responsible for steering strategic initiatives and providing expert guidance across diverse business functions, aligning them with organizational objectives. This role plays a crucial part in enhancing operational efficiency and driving sustainable growth.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business strategies aligned with the company's goals.
• Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and industry developments to inform strategic decision-making.
• Act as a liaison between various departments, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of objectives.
• Lead projects focused on process improvement, cost optimization, and operational excellence.
• Provide insights and recommendations on financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct regular reviews and assessments of operational processes to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Foster relationships with external partners, vendors, and industry experts to leverage market insights and opportunities.
• Mentor and support teams in leveraging data-driven approaches to enhance business performance.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Project management expertise with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP S4/Hana Finance is a plus.
• Fluent in English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic planning, business analysis, or related roles.
• Experience working in a multinational or diverse business environment is advantageous.
