Intern- Portfolio Management Markets & Pricing, Southern European Origination (6 months), Düsseldorf, (m/f/d)

Job Description

• Gain first-hand and in-depth understanding of power markets and related commodities with a focus on renewable energy and learn the fundamentals of energy trading


• Support in managing operatively the portfolio of Guarantees of Origin across our different European markets.


• Support our portfolio managers in building out a tool landscape to manage the portfolio of power, GoOs and other commodities.


• Support PM trading activities by analysing key market factors, which will allow for a better decision making on a daily basis.

• Currently studying or recently received a degree in either Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Engineering, or other relevant analytical field of study and available for a 6-month internship.


• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.


• Proficiency with data analysis/data science in Excel and Python


• Interest in the renewables and power market.


• High level of motivation, structured way of working and able to get things done.


• Able to communicate ideas clearly.


• Fluency in English is required.


• Understanding of the power market an advantage.
