Job Title: Solar Service Engineer (Utility C&I Domain)
Job Location: Munich or Düsseldorf, Germany
Main Responsibilities:
- Engineering support, supervising project engineering process, including kick-off meeting, hardware and software supervision, acceptance test.
- Onsite support for site survey, installation training or commissioning training to customers when necessary, site acceptance. Commissioning, improvement of the troubleshooting, intervention onsite when necessary.
- Interface with engineering partner to locate technical problems that may arise during the engineering process.
- Pre-sales testing support, such as holding workshops with customer or partner on technical issues. Bidding support on technical and engineering related part. Presentation of the technical service, solar products during some living exposition of solar energy.
- Support as 2 nd Level Hotline inquires. Responsible for SLM and TLM technical support service to customer or partner independently or jointly with a technical support team.
- Onsite support in case of major or critical problems that can’t be solved by customer or local subcontractor according to SLA.
- Responsible for handling technical cases on ticket system.
- Responsibilities include but not limited to: monitor the quality of on-site operation, updating Quality analysis and improvement processes, cooperating with responsible sales managers and product managers.
Requirements:
- +3 years of technical experience in solar energy industry. Experience in Utility and C&I (Commercial & Industry) domain preferred.
- Experience of reading and understanding electrical schematic diagrams and specifications with the ability to pick out and interpret relevant information.
- Good Understanding of PV plant structures and C&I solutions (Battery, EV, Inverters).
- Multi-skilled in both the theoretical and practical aspects of electrical work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Must have strong leadership qualities, highly motivated, team player, goal oriented and success driven individual and able to work independently.
- Good presentation and negotiation skills including good listening, probing, and qualification abilities.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Willingness for business trips, mainly within Germany.
