Based on-site in Düsseldorf within our Instrument Development Team, the Verification Engineer will collaborate broadly with a variety of engineering teams (electrical/mechanical/firmware etc) to design, evaluate, and test components and systems of water analysis devices.Reporting to theManager System & Verification, the R&D Verification Engineer is responsible for component- and system tests of water analysis devices within the R&D Team. Your duties and responsibilities include the investigation of analytical methods. This includes hardware, software, chemistry and application tests of the device. In this role, a typical day will look like:You work directly with a team of highly experienced technical experts in multiple roles and technologies,You develop verification- and validation plans and reportsYou specify test procedures, measurements and evaluation criteria and optimize them in coordination with the development teamsYou plan, control and conduct manual and automated testsYou evaluate data using statistical methods and present the results within the project teamYou coordinate independently with other specialist departments in the event of test deviationsThe essential requirements of the job include: Bachelors’ or Master’s degree in engineering sciences (optics, physics, fluid dynamics, process, electrical or similar)preferably several years in a similar position.
