The LUCA program is, in addition, a critical enabler of METRO’s strategy to achieve standardization, harmonization, and centralization.Within the LUCA program, the SAP Ariba Solution Architect is a specialized role focusing on the technical aspects of implementing SAP Ariba solutions to optimize indirect procurement processes within an organization. This role requires a good understanding of SAP Ariba modules, such as SAP Ariba Sourcing, SAP Buying and Invoicing, Guided Buying and Invoice Management and, particularly, a deep hands-on experience on the integration between SAP Ariba and S/4 HANA as well as the supplier integration capabilities within Commerce Automation.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the technical lead for SAP Ariba rollouts and enhancementsReview initial requirements against current business processes to identify gaps or opportunities for improvementProvide advice on integration implementation approaches and their implications,Support the process leads and process owners by offering insights on integration architectural decisions and their alignment with business needsOversee the configuration of Cloud Integration GatewaySupport in the usage of API’s for data exchange with SAP AribaSupport the technical onboarding of suppliers on the Ariba NetworkOversee the technical configuration of SAP Ariba modules, including approval workflows, document numbering, interface settings, etc.Support the data migration on the migration of master and transactional dataSupport the various test phases including defect resolutionSupport the deployment activities, including hypercareSupport the Service Management by reviewing incidents and request for changesDrive the adoption of IT Security Standards and IT Audit action plans.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field8+ years of hands-on technical experience with SAP Ariba, with strong knowledge of Commerce Automation and API-based integrationHands-on experience with Ariba integration methods: CIG, APIs, IDocs, Web Services, or middleware tools (e.g., SAP PI/PO, BTP)Proficiency in Ariba Network configuration and document mapping (orders, order confirmations, ship notices, service entries, and invoices)Familiarity with SAP ERP (S/4HANA or ECC) procurement modules (SAP MM and Master Data)Experience in implementing or supporting one or more Ariba modules: Sourcing, Contracts, Buying, Invoicing, Commerce AutomationUnderstanding of SAP Ariba network configurations and master data flow,Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skillsExcellent command of English (written and spoken) Ability to travel is requiredAdditional InformationWork-life balance: Flexible working hours with the option of mobile working in agreement with your line manager, 30 days of holidays.Training: A comprehensive training offer via our own training center or externally.Well-being: Health days with lots of health checks and information about your well-being, company medical care including a range of preventive services, such as flu shots, OTHEB employee assistance program.Exciting life on campus: Free gym and sports classes, Rioba coffee bar, canteen with discounted meals for employees, many campus events.Discounts: discounted Jobticket as well as discounts in our wholesale stores and at many partner companies.Comfort: Good transport connections, free parking spaces, JobBike.
