Senior O2C Specialist (German-Speaking) - Porto, Relocation Support

Are you an experienced Order-to-Cash professional with fluent German and a background in team leadership? Join a global medical technology company's finance operations team in Porto and take ownership of the end-to-end O2C cycle.

What you'll do

• Lead, manage and perform O2C operations: order management, billing, collections, cash application and dispute resolution
• Prepare and review AR ageing reports, drive collection strategies and reduce DSO
• Resolve escalated disputes and negotiate payment terms with customers and internal stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with audit, SOX and internal controls, IFRS and tax requirements
• Drive process automation, standardisation and efficiency improvements
• Support month-end and quarter-end close, reconciliations and reporting to senior management
• Train and mentor junior O2C specialists
• Work with Sales, Logistics, Treasury and Tax teams

What you need

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• 5–7 years' experience in O2C, AR or Finance Operations, including at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of O2C processes, financial controls and compliance frameworks
• Hands-on ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or Workday)
• Experience with global, multi-currency environments
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
• Fluent German (spoken and written) and advanced English (C1)
• Willingness to relocate to Porto, Portugal
