Executive Vice President Data & Analytics

Our client is a global service unit of an leading international retail and e-commerce organization centered around data, AI and digital solutions. As a data-driven company, the company relies on cutting-edge technologies and analytics to understand the markets and continuously evolve. To strengthen the executive team, our client is seeking an experienced and visionary EVP Data & Analytics who will play a crucial role in shaping the future direction of the group.

Tasks

As EVP Data & Analytics, you will be responsible for the strategic leadership of our global data and information infrastructure, driving the digital transformation of our business. You will work closely with the executive leadership and other departments to ensure that data is leveraged effectively to create competitive advantages and achieve business objectives.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing a global data strategy that aligns with corporate goals and market demands.
• Leading and optimizing our global data architecture , including managing large-scale data, cloud technologies, and databases.
• Ensuring data quality and security , in compliance with international data protection regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Promoting a data-driven culture across the organization by advancing data analytics and business intelligence tools.
• Developing and implementing Big Data and AI solutions to drive innovation and support informed decision-making.
• Collaborating with international teams from IT, marketing, operations, and other departments to ensure an integrated information infrastructure.
• Identifying and adopting emerging technologies and trends to maintain our company’s position as a market leader
• Managing and developing the data workforce with 200 experts in different roles together with your peers in the leadership team

Requirements

• A degree in computer science, data science, information management, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of leadership experience in data management, IT, or business intelligence, preferably within a complex and global organization.
• Proven success in developing and executing data strategies in a multinational corporation.
• Deep understanding of Big Data, data analytics, AI/ML technologies , and their application to corporate strategy.
• Extensive knowledge of international data protection regulations and best practices in cybersecurity .
• Excellent leadership and communication skills , with the ability to lead teams within a complex, global matrix organization.
• Fluency in English ; additional languages are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally and thrive in a dynamic, global environment.
