Head of Application Engineering - Europe (d/f/m)

What you´ll do

• Lead the Europe Engineering team supporting Henkel’s top semiconductor and consumer electronics accounts.
• Promote a culture of learning, collaboration, and personal development
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to drive “must‑win” projects and key transformational programs.
• Work with external vendors and research centers to develop differentiating technologies for Henkel’s electronics business.
• Elevate the customer experience through technical training and effective cross‑functional collaboration.
• Translate customer insights into value‑driving improvements across products and services.
• Drive operational excellence by managing CapEx, modernizing labs, and sustaining/enhancing application solutions.

What makes you a good fit

• Master’s or PhD degree in science or engineering
• 10 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 5 years leading a team of 5+ engineers/scientists as direct reports
• Expertise in adhesives and films used in electronic devices, with strong understanding of FEA/CAD and flow modeling
• Strong stakeholder‑management skills with the ability to influence across functions and regions
• Proven track record of driving innovation and implementing new technologies in engineering environments
• Fluent English skills
