Senior Leasing Manager - Retail (m/f/d)

Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing company with a strong presence in the retail and commercial real estate sector. As part of its continued expansion, we are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Leasing Manager (m/f/d) to join the team in Düsseldorf.

As a recruitment partner, we are supporting our client exclusively in the search for this key position.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the leasing strategy for a portfolio of retail properties and/or retail locations
• Identify, approach and secure suitable tenants in line with the overall commercial strategy
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective tenants, retailers, brands and key market players
• Manage the entire leasing process from initial negotiations through to contract signing and handover
• Conduct lease negotiations, including commercial terms, rents, incentives and other contractual conditions
• Develop and maintain a strong network within the retail and commercial real estate market
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and tenant demand to identify new business opportunities
• Work closely with internal stakeholders across Asset Management, Property Management, Finance, Legal and Development
• Prepare leasing strategies, market analyses, business cases and regular management reports
• Support the optimization of occupancy, rental income and overall asset performance
• Represent the company in meetings, negotiations and relevant industry events

Your Profile

• Several years of professional experience in retail leasing, commercial real estate or a comparable field
• Proven track record in successfully negotiating and closing retail lease agreements
• Strong understanding of the German retail and commercial real estate market
• Established network of contacts within the retail, fashion, F&B, leisure or related sectors
• Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship-management skills
• Strong commercial mindset with a clear focus on results and value creation
• Ability to manage multiple projects and negotiations simultaneously
• Confident and professional appearance, both internally and externally
• Excellent command of German and English , both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Germany and, where required, internationally
