Qualifications

• Successfully completed studies in Business Administration, Finance or similar with work experience in Controlling in a corporate environment
• The ability to compile data, create a narrative from it, write commentary, and prepare presentations
• Not only understanding costs/capex, but also the revenue side (income)
• Controlling expertise and experience with KPIs such as EBIT(DA), OPEX, CAPEX, OCF as well as DCF evaluations and reporting in line with IFRS
• Logical and passionate to translate complicated corporate/business issues into financial key data
• Experience with IT tools like SAP; Power BI and Tagetik is a plus
• Excellent communication skills are vital in order to discuss financial matters targeted towards business and management audiences
• Intrinsically motivated, thinking outside boxes, innovative and entrepreneurial thinking, willingness to leave your comfort zone
• Fluent in English; German and other languages are an advantage

Tasks

• Support the Energy Assets functions with financial know how
• Support with the digitization of reports and the rollout of central initiatives
• Creating transparency on financial performance for the business and senior management providing proper financial steering measures on the generation segments and the function Energy Assets
• Discuss deviations critically and developing innovative ideas
• Using your financial know-how to giving positive and creative impulses to the business
• Coordinate overarching projects and initiatives across all Energy Assets led generation business lines
• Coordination of Mid Term Planning and forecasting for Energy Assets
• Responsible for Cost Controlling
• Actively seek further digitalization of your work and look out for best practices
• Collaborating in multifunctional projects representing Business Controlling
