About the Team :

Achieving revenue objectives across the DACH region within specifically-named accounts, including identifying sales opportunities, qualifying opportunities, and efficiently leveraging resources in order to bring opportunities to successful conclusion. In addition, you will maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and personal involvement in customer relationships in order to remain consistent with Medidata business principals.

You will report into the Director of Mid Market Sales.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute strategic account management plans for assigned accounts across the DACH region
• Attainment of all revenue and booking targets within assigned territory
• Represent Medidata in a manner consistent with company principles and ethics
• Coordinate resources within sales and other departments
• Maintain and update account and opportunity data within company systems as directed, including Salesforce.com
• Quarterly and/or annual sales targets are covered under a separate document

Qualifications :

• You will have a strong knowledge of life sciences industry, ideally within clinical and/or R&D.
• Demonstrated consistent track record of being a trusted advisor within nominated accounts
• You will have the ability to orchestrate and manage complex sales opportunities.
• Use a consultative approach to accomplish positive outcomes for clients
• Demonstrated consistent track record in exceeding sales and related account targets
• SaaS / application software experience
• Demonstrated success with process approached selling
• Bachelor's degree required
• Requires successful relevant experience
• Working knowledge and/or professional level German language skills will be a distinct advantage.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
