Retail Brand Activation & Key Account Specialist DACH

ABOUT THE JOBWe are looking for a Retail Brand Activation & Key Account Specialist DACH to lead CAIA’s retail presence in the German-speaking market. This hybrid role combines strategic Key Account Management, retail brand activation and team leadership, ensuring that every CAIA counter delivers a premium, consistent, and high-performing customer experience. Reporting directly to the Country Manager DACH, you will act as the link between regional strategy and local execution, taking full ownership of the operational excellence of our beauty counters.
This is a remote position based in the DACH region. Due to the nature of the role, a high willingness to travel is required (minimum one week per month).
MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIESKey Account Management
Take responsibility for the holistic management and strategic development of our Key Accounts in the DACH region
Evaluate sales figures, market trends, and competitor activities to derive actionable recommendations and identify growth potential
Concept, plan, and execute sales promotion measures, product launches, and client presentations
Oversee the sell-in of new products, including the creation and provision of relevant listing documents
Create and present client-specific analyses, reports, and business reviews
Retail Excellence & Operational Leadership
Take full operational responsibility for the daily business across all CAIA counters in the DACH region
Manage, coach, and motivate the beauty consultants at our counters and foster a high-performing team culture
Act as the direct and primary point of contact for Store Managers to ensure smooth communication and operational alignment
Deliver training initiatives regarding service rituals and product knowledge that positively impact conversion, UPT, and AOV
Lead the onboarding for new hires and ensure team readiness before major launches
Visual Merchandising & Brand Activation
Secure high-quality VM execution across all counters (planograms, displays, windows)
Lead in-store execution for campaigns, launches and brand activations - always on time
Coordinate stationary brand activations to ensure maximum brand impact
QUALIFICATIONS & PERSONAL SKILLS
You have a strong background in key account management, brand activation or retail training, ideally within beauty. You combine a sharp visual eye with operational discipline and love turning strategy into hands-on retail execution. You are structured, proactive and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You communicate clearly, train confidently and collaborate easily with both HQ teams and store teams.
PROFILE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5 years’ experience in key account management, retail training or brand activation (preferably beauty)
Proven experience in leading people, with the ability to inspire and manage teams effectively (prior retail experience is a plus)
Confident presenter and negotiator with excellent communication skills in German and English
Strong project management skills - structured, organized and solution-oriented
Willingness to travel extensively across the DACH region
