Structural Design Engineer

Manning Global, an Internationally renowned staffing and managed services organization specializing in providing staffing solutions for leading corporations in AI, IT & Telecoms, Engineering, Digital Media, Automotive and Renewable Energy is hiring for a to join one of its clients projects and team in Germany for a fixed term project. Position/Title: Structural Design Engineer Employment: 3-6 month rolling Contract Type: Employment through MG/Freelance Start Date: July 2026 Location: Ideally onsite in Duesseldorf, but remote is possible Salary Framework: around 60K Contact: Senior Business Manager on: +49 (0) 89 23 88 98 42 Key Responsibilities: Prepare structural (static) calculations in accordance with customer requirements, Eurocodes, and applicable German standards (DIN/EN). Assess the load-bearing capacity of existing structures and design reinforcement measures or alternative structural solutions where required. Perform structural calculations for all structural and system components, ensuring compliance with planned loads and structural stability requirements. Conduct preliminary structural analyses before the detailed design (AP) stage to identify potential issues and minimize later design changes. Ensure all calculations and documentation comply with applicable regulations, customer specifications, and industry standards. Experience/Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related discipline. Good knowledge of Eurocodes, German structural design standards (DIN/EN), building codes, and structural calculation principles. Familiarity with telecommunications infrastructure and common telecom equipment (including dimensions, weights, and wind load parameters) is preferred. Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., RFEM, RSTAB, SAP2000, or equivalent) and related engineering tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
