Mitsui Chemicals Europe GmbH, the EMEA headquarters of one of the world's top global chemical groups, is seeking a driven and proactive sales & business development professional to strengthen our Compounds Business Division. We are looking for a Business Development Manager (m/f/d) who thrives in customer-centric technical environments and wants to take ownership of strategic accounts for a leading specialty polymer brand.

Business Development Manager (m/f/d)

Location: Düsseldorf, Germany | Hybrid & Flexible Work

What You’ll Do

• Manage customer accounts and drive growth for TPV solutions
• Develop new business with OEMs and Tier 1 customers across Europe
• Lead the full sales cycle from opportunity to contract closure
• Support customer projects, application development, and value positioning
• Monitor market trends, manage planning/reporting (SAP/JEDOX), and collaborate with global stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in polymer science, engineering, business, or comparable qualification
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, customer management & product marketing
• Proven experience in automotive (OEMs / Tier 1s) and preferably elastomers / TPV / TPE
• Strong commercial and technical understanding (application-oriented mindset)
• Excellent communication both in English & German, independence, and customer orientation
